Living Buddhism In The West by Eugene Trak
August 30, 2018 @ 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm
If you are interested to hear how Buddhist practice and philosophy can be applied in our everyday lives, Eugene Trak – an experienced teacher of Diamond Way Buddhism from USA and close student of western Buddhist master Lama Ole Nydahl – will be discussing the foundations of Buddhism and how meditation can impact our lives. The lecture will run approximately 1 hour followed by a Q&A and a guided meditation. Lectures and meditation are suitable for newcomers and experienced Buddhists alike.
DIAMOND WAY BUDDHISM
Diamond Way Buddhist Centre Dublin belongs to an international non-profit network of over 600 lay Diamond Way Buddhist centers of the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, founded by Lama Ole Nydahl and under the spiritual guidance of H.H. the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, Trinley Thaye Dorje. The centre has been active for 10 years and has 40 practitioners. We meet for public meditation, which is guided in English, twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays at 8 pm. We welcome newcomers and always present a basic introduction to meditation in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and are happy to answer any questions.
Diamond Way Buddhism offers practical and effective methods to realize mind’s inherent richness for the benefit of all. With an accessible and modern style, it works with people’s confidence and desire, using every situation in life to develop fearlessness and joy.
